I am Juliette Murris and a researcher in biostatistics and ML.
I am primarily interested in survival analyses in medical research, with a focus on recurrent events. I also have a strong interest in any innovative technologies, specifically when related to machine/statistical learning stakes.
Short CV:
- 2024/onwards – I joined the Borgwardt Lab as a postdoctoral fellow, with primary motivation on machine learning and systems biology;
- 2021/24 – I pursued a PhD in biomathematics and biostatistics at Inria HeKA, focusing on combining statistical inference from survival models for recurrent events with machine learning techniques [slides] [manuscript (french only)];
- 2020/24 – Alongside my research, I worked part-time as a biostatistician in the R&D department at Pierre Fabre laboratories;
- 2020/21 – I joined the master of Public Health from the Université Paris-Cité;
- 2018/20 – I worked for 2.5 years at Amaris as a consultant in Health Economics and Market Access;
- 2018 – I graduated from the National School of Statistics in France with a major in Data Science for Healthcare.

🐻 October 2024 – Thrilled to share that I was selected to present my work at the Doctoral Consortium at the AIES 2024 Conference in San Jose, California. This is my first opportunity to present internationally, which makes the experience even more exciting!
